Weekend of the year is almost here, and that also means some hardcore heavy nights in the waiting. The fun part comes in later though, the stress walks in way before, with WHAT DO I WEAR? I have a Cocktail/Farewell/Birthday/Christmas party to attend almost every day of the week!!! Screeeeeechhh! Stop! Every year I land in that spot, however this year I decided to be a little prepared rather than hitting panic button last-minute.
I made a quick list of “party season” must-haves which you can mix and match with other items of clothing, like a statement crop from the current season or recycle something from the last season and do it up with accessories.
Black Maxi-skirt with a thigh high slit
This is my favourite go-to party wear as I find this to be one of the most versatile item of clothing. Pair it with a crop top, a peplum, something denim for a more casual look, or just a simple dainty blouse, the skirt will make sure of the glam staying intact.
This is major game changer. Put it on over any simple/drab/old outfit and it will completely change the look. Boring to fab within seconds.
Another Favorite of mine. Looks great with a simple tee-shirt or a soft silky shirt, add a statement necklace or earrings to up the game!
Faux Leather Pencil Skirt
Leather can look very classy and sassy if worn with an appropriate top. It is also a quick fix for your dilemma as to “what to wear”, as it takes away the need to wear jewellery.
Classic! No introduction needed. Must have all year around.
Well Fitted Black Pants
Nothing looks better than a pair of well-fitted black pants. Just like the maxi skirt, you have all the options from your wardrobe to play around with, for the top. This can be good option for a work-do where you want to look pretty but a little conservative.
