Quick style fix for New Year’s Eve!

Trust me when I say I am one of those! I will have an outfit planned 3 weeks in advance but just 3 days before the eve, I will either look too fat in it or it just won’t fall the way it did 3 weeks ago. Yeah! Story of my life and hence a quick list of last-minute NYE outfit alternatives that you will find either in your wardrobe or a store close to you.

LBD

Something no one can ever go wrong with and one thing every girl has in her wardrobe. You can revamp this precious gem in many ways with so many accessories flooding the market these days. Chunky necklace, statement earrings, chunky metallic belt, headgear or even a body harness. Just make sure you don’t wear more than one of these at the same time.  Id love to add edge to an old classic Little Black Dress with cage heels.

Leather

Even in my previous posts, I have mentioned leather quite a few times; but I just can’t help my obsession with faux leather. You can make an ordinary satin shirt look a million bucks by pairing it with well-fitted pair of faux leather leggings, shorts or ever a shirt.

Sequins/Metallics

Once again, everything sparkly captures my attention and you CANNOT go wrong with sequins or metallics especially on an occasion like welcoming the New Year. The thing about shiny items of clothing is, you can give the accessories a miss and still look like a diva.

All Black Everything

This look seems to be gaining popularity when it comes to my nights out. I love wearing an all black outfit with one piece of statement jewellery and make-up that makes the outfit pop. My usual go-to lip colour with an all-black outfit is Oxblood along with Smoky eyes.

This is the last weekend before the year ends, get cracking ladies! No matter what you pick, don’t forget to strut around and flex the diva in you! Cheers! Until 2015……
