I’m BACK! and sorry for the radio silence peeps! Turns out, working with a fashion magazine isn’t the most glamorous or even remotely relaxed job, but definitely ton of fun and an amazing learning experience. Everyday is a new challenge, a new creative set up!
On another note, being invited to the Nike Air Max Day was one of the most relaxed work related event that happened last week. Great initiative by Nike and Homegrown to finally bring light to the concept in India.
March 26, is celebrated as the Nike Air Max Day world over. The company asks people to wear their Air Max shoes, whether they be a vintage pair or the recently released Nike Air Max Zero, to celebrate the occasion. The Air Max Zero was the original concept for the brand that was eventually altered to create the Air Max 1 back in 1987.
Set up in Mehboob Studio, with invitee list consisting of young achievers from various walks of life; chefs, bloggers, photographers, models, actors, DJs, stylists, designers, etc, It felt like the entire social media world was present at the sneaker ball that night.
Wolves visuals put up some crazy projections to go with the hauntingly beautiful tunes dished out by the DJs.
Apart from the visuals and the music, it was the catching up with peeps I have only seen on Instagram/Twitter; and the various shapes, sizes, colours and styles of Nike’s present on the floor, that really captured my attention.
Once again would like to Thank Nike and Homegrown to extend an invite! Keep up the good work guys, you are always an inspiration 🙂
