Are you HALLOWEEN ready yet?

Halloween is one of my most favourite time of the year, because, no brainer – dressing up, creating random outfits is my most favourite hobby! This day gives me more freedom to create than ever, because it doesn’t not involve any single element of fashion or styling but a combination of a few. In the past few years, Ive dressed up as dead celebrity, a nurse, a school kid, a hippie, anything that I wanted to be (but dead!).

Since Halloween is not far, I thought Id share a few quick tips on how to perfect a Halloween Outfit without breaking your head.

1.) Short list a few characters or dressing style that you have always fancied, but would look a little too “fancy dress” to imitate on a regular day. Pick your favourite one, something that your personal character naturally blends in with.

2.) Google a few images of your selected style/character and pick a signature attire for that person/style. For e.g.: When I dressed up like Nicki Minaj, I picked up Red Wig, a fitted short skirt and a lace tube top. You must start with looking for items in your wardrobe before heading out, because for the most part of it, you will not end up wearing them again.

3.) Once you are done looking your part as you wanted, the next step is to create the “back from DEAD” look! A lot of stores (party hunters, mad hatter etc) have fake blood and other props. However if you want to stick to DIY, you can use red lipstick and black eye shadow to create the little scary, little sexy look.
